How salaried tax is worked out
Pakistan uses a progressive slab system for salaried individuals. Your annual taxable salary falls into a slab; you pay a fixed amount for the lower slabs plus a percentage on the portion above the slab’s starting point. This tool always uses the slab figures stored in the database, which an administrator updates whenever the FBR issues a new schedule.
